We’re hiring!
We’re expanding our team and are looking for a talented Spa Therapist to join us here at Energise Health Club & Day Spa - voted Norfolk’s Best Spa 2022!
Working closely with your teammates across the Health Club and Spa, you’ll deliver relaxing treatments, from hot stone massage to manicures, and ensure everyone who walks through our doors feels comfortable and welcome.
Minimum requirement: NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent. Previous Spa experience desired but not essential. Further training (external and in-house) will be provided where required.
Hours: Flexible (must include a minimum of two Saturdays a month and one Sunday a month)
Pay: Dependent on experience + excellent company benefits

Recruitment Process: Successful applicants will be invited to an interview and skills assessment with the Spa Manager.
We anticipate this role starting in January, but this is flexible.

We’ve added another Norfolk business to our self care station - The Candle Brand - who have created a divine smelling range of diffusers and complimentary products.
Handcrafted in Norfolk, by the Brand family themselves, we’re happy to be supporting a fellow-family business.
Their range of products, including natural wax melts are created using carefully curated fragrances, making them family friendly, pregnancy and children safe, vegan friendly and cruelty free.
A plastics free business, we love that they use plantable wildflower seed labels too!
Perfect for a pick-me-up present to yourself, or someone else; we’ve chosen scents that can be found here on the grounds at Energise Pentney, including English Pear, Lavender and Eucalyptus.

Acre Botanicals X Energise Pentney
We’re so thrilled to add Acre Botanicals handmade bath salts to our self care shop!
Hand sourced and blended just a few miles away, in Castle Acre, Norfolk, two new blends in the range have been specially created for Energise Pentney Health Club. The Energising blend, using water mint, and the Calming blend, featuring rose and lavender, are both inspired by the Health Club’s ethos and gardens.
Continuing our collaboration with local and independent businesses, including Zartia Cards and Starlings of Swaffham, Energise is delighted to be supporting Acre Botanicals, and providing beautiful products for our Members and Guests to purchase as a gift to themselves, or someone else.

As proud partners of Swaffham Golf Club since 2019, we’re delighted to support their series of events, from their Centenary Celebrations to their Family Fun Day!
Family Fun Day (July 2022)
We enjoyed a sunny Family Fun Day in July, with face painting, garden games, and of course, golf! One lucky winner received an Annual Membership to the Health Club!
Centenary Celebrations (April, 2022)
We were delighted to attend the opening of the commissioned Centenary Clock, with the Mayor of Swaffham, and Chairman of Breckland District Council.
Energise Pentney Health Club sponsored Swaffham Golf Club’s Centenary Season Opener – with the winning team receiving an annual Membership to Energise Pentney. Runners up received gift vouchers for Sports Massage, or relaxing treatments.
Ryder Cup (August 2022)
Another great event with Swaffham Golf Club, the Vice Captains’ team won by 14 points to 9.

As an independent family business, we’re always looking for ways to support fellow small businesses from Norfolk.
In the first spot in our new ‘Supporting Local’ retail area, we’re delighted to welcome Zoe, from Zartia Designs, who creates beautiful hand drawn occasion cards, as well as blank designs - because you don’t need a reason to let someone know you’re thinking of them!
A selection of cards is available at Reception, at £3 each. More ranges will be introduced ahead of seasonal events.
More retailers in this space will be announced over the coming weeks, in time for our Norfolk Day celebrations!
Energise and Starlings form fruitful partnership!
Energise Pentney Health Club & Day Spa has partnered with Starlings of Swaffham to provide fresh, local fruit to their team, Members and Spa Experience guests, whilst raising money for mental health charity, Norfolk & Waveney Mind.
Delivered every Tuesday in July, an assortment of ‘easy eat’ fruit is available to take, in return for a donation to Norfolk & Waveney Mind, with both businesses promoting health in body and mind, and the benefits of supporting local independents.
To celebrate the partnership, the businesses have launched a social media competition to win a £50 Gift Voucher for Energise Pentney, and a Luxury Fruit Basket, as well as sending a Luxury Fruit Hamper to the hard working team at Norfolk & Waveney Mind.
Starlings of Swaffham is a family run business in the heart of Norfolk, with beautiful flowers and local fresh fruit being their speciality and passion. Their shop has been nestled in the market town of Swaffham since they opened their doors back in 1960. Starlings promises the very best quality flowers and luxurious gifts with a personal service from their team.

Energise Pentney Health Club will be sponsoring the team’s new training kit, and providing support to help the squad level up their performance.
In a brand new partnership, Fakenham Town Ladies Football Club will be working with award winning Health Club, Energise Pentney, to improve squad performance in body and mind.
Fakenham Town Ladies Football Club were recently promoted to the Eastern Regions Division One North, so the partnership comes at a perfect time, with training recommencing in early July, 2022.
Hannah Watfa, Owner, Energise Pentney Health Club & Day Spa, said “We’re so proud to be able to support Fakenham Town Ladies FC as their Official Training Partner. Women’s football needs more support to even the playing field, from grassroots to top level. We went to watch our team member, Olivia Baker (forward), play in the semi-finals, and realised how much we could offer in support of the team.
We’re keen to use our assets, including our Fitness Instructors and Sports Massage Therapists to help the team garner even more success. Our ethos is about balance in body and mind, and we look forward to helping the team achieve this. We’ll be welcoming the players for a team Spa Experience, offering Training Programmes and, of course, running some giveaways for the Ghost’s supporters.”
