Membership FAQs


Is there a minimum term?

Our minimum membership term is one month. Your Membership will automatically roll over until you instruct us via email to cancel your Membership. To cancel your Membership, you must email reception@energise-pentney.co.uk to inform us, and return your Membership card. No refunds will be issued once payment has received, so you may continue to use the facilities until your Membership expires.


Blue Badge Holders

If you’re a Blue Badge holder and would like to bring a Carer with you when you use the facilities, you can find out more about our Carer Passes here, and read more about our Accessibility here.


We offer individual Memberships only; you can use the same payment method across multiple Memberships if you wish.

Do you do joint/family Memberships?


Can my child come swimming with me?

Children (under 18’s) in your immediate family can join you in the Indoor Pool during Family Swim hours only. The cost is £3.50 per session (not time limited), per child, and strictly allows use of the Indoor Pool only. Children must be accompanied at all times, by one adult per two children; other terms apply. Please note that we don’t allow inflatables.


Can I swim / gym only?

You can use any part of Energise within your Membership, as often as you like. We don’t break down Membership by category. If you want to swim as a one-off, you can purchase a Spa & Swim pass for a three hour session for £30, or try a one-off Spa Experience.


Can I bring a guest?

Our Members are able to bring a guest (one adult, aged 18+) to enjoy access to all facilities at Energise Pentney Health Club, on up to two occasions per month. There’s no need to pre-book, simply arrive with your Guest and enjoy some quality time together!

Terms: Guest Passes are £20 and allow full, unlimited access to all facilities at Energise Pentney for the open hours of the chosen day of use. Guest Passes can’t be part redeemed and are valid only for the day of purchase, regardless of how much time is spent on-site. Two Guest Passes are available to purchase per Member, per month, until further notice.

Entry: Guests must be aged 18 or over, sign in at our Welcome Desk, and agree to our Terms of Use. We reserve the right to refuse entry should we deem you unfit to use the facilities/under go a Treatment, or ask you to leave should any of our Terms of Use be breached - no refunds will be issued. No refunds will be issued should any part of Energise Pentney be unavailable for use, e.g. during essential maintenance or inclement weather.


Do you do Blue Light discount?

Yes, we offer a 10% discount to Blue Light workers. You’ll need to sign up in person, and bring proof of employment with you.
