Mental Health and Wellbeing

We know that wellness is just as important in mind as in body.

We’re proud to support Norfolk & Waveney Mind, the mental health charity that believes no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. Mind works to reduce the stigma associated with mental health, support people in their recovery and champion better services for all.

Here at Energise, we have literature from Mind on a range of topics available in our changing rooms and Reception, as well as running regular fundraising and awareness for the charity.

We know that you may not always feel comfortable taking a physical leaflet that you might be interested in, so we’ve included Mind’s resources on this page - should you wish to view them, just click on an image below to enlarge it.

If you feel like you are in need of urgent help and want to talk to someone, you have the following options:

  • For urgent medical attention, you can call 999, visit Accident & Emergency (A&E) or make an Emergency GP appointment.

  • For urgent medical advice you can call the NHS on 111.

  • You can talk to Samaritans anytime on 116 123, and this isn’t just for those who are feeling suicidal.

  • If you are under 19 you can contact Childline about anything. Whatever your worry, it is better out than in. Call 0800 1111.

First Response is a 24/7 helpline for people of all ages in Norfolk and Suffolk who need urgent mental health support.
